Katherine started working as Deputy District Attorney for the County of San Bernardino in January 1997. She has served in a variety of assignments throughout the County including: juvenile, adult criminal, and Lead Deputy District Attorney for the Mentally Disordered Offender/Sexually Violent Predator unit. She is currently assigned to the Treatment Courts (Drug, Veterans & Mental Health) in the Central San Bernardino office.
